Your missions

Partner with the Rents and Service Charge teams to provide support, reconciliation, and financial review.
Coordinate monthly rent and service charge reporting at group, company, and scheme levels, ensuring financial information aids business decisions.
Conduct analytical reviews of income and expenditure trends, including detailed calculations of estimates and year-end figures, and provide variance analysis to the Service Charge Manager and senior management.
Journal annual rent and service charge budgets into the finance system.
Manage budgeting and reforecasting for managing agents’ prepayments and accruals.
Review Direct Debit amendment files for bulk changes related to rent reviews and service charge adjustments.
Ensure compliance with FCA requirements for My Choice HomeBuy and Exempt Housing Authority Loans statements.
Verify adequacy and proper utilization of future repair funds, collaborating with other departments.
Review and maintain the Management Fee structure, updating changes to the pricing mechanism and conducting annual reviews.
Maintain and update control manuals, procedure documents, and process maps to ensure compliance.

Your profile

Hold a full professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Proficient in numerical analysis and interpretation.
Understand the application of service charges in the social housing sector.
Experienced in management and financial accounting functions.
